Senior Laundry Assistant

The Role and About You

As a result of recent growth we are seeking one or more individuals to join our small, friendly team and assist in the laundry operations. We are flexible on hours and days and would be happy to discuss both full and part days.

As a Senior Laundry Assistant you will work with the Laundry Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the laundry. You will be involved in the whole laundry process and also be trained to use our dedicated in-house IT system so that you are confidently able to step-in for short periods and cover for the Supervisor during periods of absence. During these periods you will also receive a performance based top-up bonus.

Experience in laundry is essential but in addition, full training will be given to ensure a consistent approach and adherence to our working practices and high standards .

At times the laundry can be fast-paced, dynamic and active. As part of a small team you will be expected to be pro-active and on occasion independent. We value new ideas and ways to improve our service and our ideal candidate is someone who wishes to share their thoughts to help us to keep improving and achieve our aim of being the best in our field.

The laundry is open between 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday. We do not open or work on weekends.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
